Our centre
We are delighted to bring the internationally acclaimed Kip McGrath learning experience to Chorley. Our centre opened in September 2005, situated in the heart of the town, on the junction of Market Street and Chapel Street.
Specialising in providing tutoring in READING, SPELLING, ENGLISH and MATHS for children aged 6 upwards - for those who need extra help at school, as well as for those who want to enhance their work even further - we have grown through recommendations of both parents and local schools.
Since April 2007, we have given eight Chorley primary schools a scholarship, enabling one pupil to a full terms weekly tuition in English or maths, at absolutely no cost.

Hilary Pepper has 25 years experience of primary school teaching in Stoke, Preston, Chorley and Bolton. In addition to her teaching qualifications, she has a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Education. For the last 10 years of her school career, she held a teaching and management post. She says:
"Having taught for 25 years, I understand how difficult it is, sometimes with a class of 30+ children, to give every child, whatever their ability, the attention they deserve. My aim is to support local schools' development of each child's potential in literacy and numeracy."
