Kip Scholarship
In April 2007 we adopted a scholarship format which has run successfully for many years at Kip McGrath Education Centres in New Zealand. Each term we offer a scholarship to a different Chorley primary school. This entitles one student to a full term’s weekly tuition in English or maths, at absolutely no cost.
Our first scholarship student, for the summer term 2007, was Jaymi-Lee from Coppull Primary School.
Mrs Judith Stallard, headteacher:
"Coppull Primary School was pleased to work with Kip McGrath in promoting the scholarship scheme. We had a lot of interest from parents and the child who was awarded the scholarship has worked well and enjoyed her sessions."
Our second scholarship student, for the autumn term 2007, was Jasmine from Eccleston St Mary's CE Primary School.
Mr William Mann, headteacher:
"Eccleston St Mary's CE Primary School was pleased to work with Kip McGrath in promoting the scholarship scheme. The child who was awarded the scholarship has worked hard and the additional Maths lessons provided by Kip McGrath have boosted her confidence."
